A booking, start to finish

  1. Quotation. Customer, event, venue, dates and items. Nothing is held yet.
  2. Book it. The goods are held for those dates. Short of anything, and it says so before you promise.
  3. Advance. Taken and noted on the booking.
  4. Send out. All at once or in trips; the delivery challan prints.
  5. Take back. Count what came back, what is damaged, what is missing.
  6. Bill. Rent for the days, services, damage and missing charges, less the advance.
  7. Return the deposit. All of it, or what is left after charges. The booking closes.

Tax invoice, bill of supply or plain bill, by your GST registration, with HSN and the GST split. Sent on WhatsApp or printed, thermal or A4. GSTR-1 file to download.

Udhaar khata

Customer and supplier khata: payments in cash or UPI, who owes most and for how long.

Stock that keeps itself

Every bill takes stock off; a warning before an item runs out; stock counts and godowns.

Staff with limits

Owner, manager, staff, delivery and a view-only accountant, with what each may do ticked per person. Every bill says who made it.

Reports and profit

Sales by day and hour, cash, UPI and credit, top items, gross margin and net profit, and downloads for your CA.

Returns and corrections

Returns with a credit note, exchange, cancel a bill, and a bill for a sale you forgot, up to 7 days back.

Questions

Does InventryBook have date-wise booking for a tent house?

Yes. Each booking has its dates, and for any dates InventryBook shows every item: how many you own, how many are booked or out, and how many are free.

Will it stop me double-booking chairs, coolers or a mandap?

Yes. If a booking asks for more than is free on its dates, InventryBook stops it and says how many are short. You can still book on purpose when you will hire the rest from someone else.

Does it track what went to the venue and what came back broken or missing?

Yes. Sending out prints a delivery challan; taking back records how many came back, how many are damaged and how many are missing, each charged on the bill.

Can I take an advance and a security deposit?

Yes, both, on the customer's khata against the booking. The bill shows only what is still due; the deposit is returned in full or after charges.

How much does it cost?

Basic is ₹299 a month (₹2,990 a year): The owner alone, up to 20 bookings a month. Pro is ₹799 a month (₹7,990 a year): Up to 5 people, unlimited bookings, a second godown, e-way bill. Every shop gets 14 days free, no card needed.

Does it work in Hindi?

Yes. Hindi is complete. Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Tamil and Telugu cover the everyday screens: billing, items, stock, customers and sign-in.

Does it need internet?

Yes, billing needs an internet connection. It works on any phone or computer in the browser and can be installed like an app.
